In addition, Rangel rounded up hordes of smiling, adoring blacks to welcome the most immoral, corrupt, incompetent president, the politically correct, liberal, socialist media has ever foisted on an unsuspecting people - the only good thing to come out of this charade - liberal media dealt itself a fatal blow, from which it has not, nor ever will recover ! Rangel, Sutton, Patterson and Sylvia Woods gushed how Clinton would enhance the area - jobs would follow. Merchants expecting this business windfall have found Clinton to be something of a phantom persona, after taking the space away from Harlem's children and families. Charles Rangel's obsession for re-instituting the draft - makes one wonder if the real reason is his desire to rid his district of undesirables ? If, Rangel's district really does have a 55% unemployment rate among its male population, Rangel has a desperate need to get rid of HIS problem.

With an all volunteer military, the military sets the standards and criteria for selection. Rangel's male " problems " do not measure up. The draft would be the perfect answer - in Charles Rangel's mind. Con the government into solving his problem- with a draft. Republicans understand Rangel's motive for calling for a renewed draft... he sees an opportunity to undermine the military by infusing it with draftees who don't want to fight..."Rangel's draft is part and parcel of the "class warfare" strategy the Democrat Party uses to divide the country," says a high-ranking military officer ( last time Rangel floated the idea, Republicans called his bluff and scheduled it for a vote. It lost 400-2 ). So what if all of America is content with the " best ever volunteer military ". Rangel's got a problem !

Democrats and Charles Rangel did nothing to bring Harlem back from a " war-torn- status appearance after the riots of the 60's ". It took Republicans ( Gov. Pataki and Mayor Guiliani ) to bring Harlem back to its former glory of a cosmopolitan showplace for Americans of African Ancestry artistry, ingenuity and industry. Today, Harlem is a thriving, international testimony to black Americans' ability, when they are helped, rather than used for political purposes. Charles Rangel, smarting as he must be, cannot take any credit for Harlem's Renaissance. In the mode of Democrats' brand of leadership - find the parade and jump in front of it. Charles Rangel is ready to claim Harlem's progress as his own. If he could just rid Harlem of its undesirable- residing mostly in his district. Rangel's ... penchant for making outrageous statements knows no bounds. Without thinking, he called President Bush "our Bull Connor" a reference to the southern sheriff who used attack dogs on civil-rights protesters. Rangel, however, failed to mention that Sheriff Connor was a Democrat.

Today, the pollsters get results they are paid to get. When the only news public received was provided three major networks and believed New York Times published news " fit to print " Ha! Ha! Thanks to Cable, Talk Radio, and especially BLOGS, what you read and hear can easily be checked out, cross referenced and judged from many different points of view - Not from the same PC "talking Points".

Scientific pollsters can ask series of leading questions designed to elicit intended response, placement of the real question, asked when the proper softening has occurred. Hundreds / thousands of interested American citizens voluntarily seek out this forum, respond, without prompts or guidance, as opposed to the scientifically selected 200, 500, or even 900 ( rarely ) No calling at a specific time to get more of the desired respondents. The one thing that needs to change, calibre of men and women voted into office. Concerned Americans should examine the character of those trusted with vote. Power is addictive. One day you are a ' gofer ' the next - it seems - you are elected to office and living in D.C. But, he/she who giveth also has the power to taketh away. If they don't / can't get the expected job done, vote them out of office. Unless you are married or related by blood to a politician, there is no need to fall so deeply in love that you can't bear to see them lose. There is a difference between a politician and a leader. A politician will do, say, promise anything to get elected and re-elected. A leader will do what's right ( President Bush is a good role model ). A leader is a person of character. He / she takes pride in the worth of the individual who looks back at him or her from the mirror. They have principles they actually live by. They are comfortable in their own skins. Character matters. Honesty, diligent effort, concern for the constituent and a willingness to stand up and fight for what they truly believe.

Conservative politicians are better for America. It would have been so nice if Republican politicians could have developed real backbone. Unfortunately, at first hint of conflict, they head for the hills to hide in the tall grass. The Republicans will not only gather the posse, but also form the circular firing squad. Cowering, and appeasement guarantee loss. Republicans need to memorize two lines from the poem, The Valiant , " Cowards die many times before their death; The valiant never taste death but once." Knees are not a position of strength ! Stand up! Fight back!

According to puffed-up pundits, politically correct, elite jaundiced journalists, looking for the exciting hook, regarding the recent Lebanese war, Israel lost, Hezbollah won, " if it bleeds, it leads " , focused and reported on ad nauseam. Media told us over and over, Hezbollah won. Israel lost. Pictures tell a different story, support a far different set of facts : Rubble, where Lebanese once called home, almost a million homeless and over a thousand dead, - Hezbollah military dying at a 10 to Israel ratio tell a different story. Ehud Olmert, Israel's Prime Minister moves about freely, openly, speaking, answering questions. Hassan Nazarrela, Hezbollah's Supreme Spiritual leader, hides out in a cave or bunker, ferreting out videos. Who really pushed for a ceasefire ? Israel's missiles were precision guided and mostly hit their target - Lebanon's infrastructure. Hezbollah's rockets - aimed at humans - landed mostly in open fields or the sea. Israel took land, that they are now in the process of relinquishing. Hezbollah took nothing. Lebanese citizens returned to destruction and desolation - mounds of twisted steel and rubble where their homes or business once stood. In Israel - Haifa - even the zoo animals fared better than the citizens of Lebanon. When the bombing stopped, Israel's returning animals were brought out of their protected shelters to scamper about and graze as if nothing had happened.

Terrorists seduce a population with suspect "largesse", but maintain allegiance at the point of a gun, and reserve the right to blow up supporters simply to make a point , or just for the hell of it ! They behead, randomly to drive the point home. Is it any wonder that the terrorized leader of a " sovereign " nation cries on International Television as he is forced to praise Hezbollah and " almost " insult the would-be saviors. How sad it was to see a grown man, the leader of a nation ( Lebanon ) cry on international television, so terrified!

Unfortunately, from the perspective of this frenzied reporting, the humanness of President George Bush and Israel bordered on stupidity. There's never even faint mention of the fact that wars used to be fought ' waaayyyy ovvvver theerre,' now they are fought in the civilized world in living color, on 52" flat screens in our living rooms. So, I ask, how long can civilized men and women watch babies, children, women and the elderly blown to bits, before we collectively shout STOP !!! So, PC pundits aid, abet and encourage terrorists who cannot win militarily, only hide behind and among helpless women and children, bomb, run, hide. THIS is victory ??? I THINK NOT !!!

The worst instance of puffed up pundits and jaundiced journalists is the blame heaped on President Bush for Hurricane KATRINA. Nary a word about the utter incompetence, criminal negligence and corruption of the female Governor, Mary Blanco and the " African- American " Mayor , Ray Nagin. A reality check indicates that first responders are : 1st local, then, State, finally, if necessary, a state of emergency is called and the Federal Government responds to the state's request for assistance. Democrats rushed to cover Blanco's ... and as an after thought, Nagin's sorry backside. Blame Democrats' ineptness, incompetence and criminal negligence on Republicans. Governor Blanco, Incompetent, insecure, fearful of losing the power voters of Louisiana had given her, sat and contemplated her naval while doomsday rapidly approached in the form of Hurricane Katrina. Nagin, the ' Big Easy's ' black mayor, ( according to written reports ) rushed to find a safe haven for his family in Dallas, Texas, leaving his truly needy to die ! He, like his female counterpart looked out for self and ' big money. ' Lines of tax purchased school buses languished under torrential rains instead of being used to get the poor, sick and elderly out of harm's way.

President Bush being a man, a man of faith and a true leader - much more than politician - stepped up, took the blame . Yet, even today, the refrain is repeated over and over " Bush is responsible for the Louisiana debacle. Saddest of all, number of ill-informed who actually believe it was Pres. Bush's fault. The State of Mississippi suffered a direct hit from KATRINA, but they have - quietly, without fanfair - almost completely rebuilt. the damaged areas, better than ever. ( Mississippi has a Republican Governor, Hayley Barbour ) You rarely hear a word from them. New Orleans, on the other hand, in spite of the billions received has done very little in re-building. They seem only to blame, beg / demand more assistance. Louisiana has a very long history of corruption and incompetence - Democratic strongholds, Governors, Senators, State legislators. While George Bush has spent almost his entire presidency fighting terrorists to keep America safe ( cleaning up the mess Democrat Clinton left behind ). The Democrats have spent the entire George Bush presidency fighting George Bush. The Democrats have proven to be the " gift that keeps on giving " to the terrorists.

Now, let's look at the ECONOMY ! It boggles the mind that an economy that continues to grow year after year, is nervously reported as an area of concern by a large segment of the American media. According to the pundits and spin-misers, many are very concerned about the state of the economy. Yet, no one ever mentions that it is those without an education and marketable skills, for whom the economy will always be BAD !!!

When Social Security benefits are given to immigrants [ legal and illegal ] / alcohol / drug addicts and those who dropped out of school and simply do not want to work, there is no incentive to improve. Abortion rights and financial aid encouraged very young girls to get pregnant, move out of parents' home, ensured of rent payment and food stamps, not to mention free pre-natal care. This state of affairs once worked to the benefit of Democrats. It allowed Democrats to paint Republicans - who believe everyone should become educated, get and hold a job/ get married before starting a family - as insensitive. And, playing the ever-at-the-ready class card - a party only for the benefit of rich.

America has paid reparations and cleared her debt for the era of slavery in full. America has done the required penance. Isn't it about time the unvarnished - not politically correct - truth be spoken, out loud. The PC Democrats ( and R.I.N.O.) are responsible for a lion's share of the chaos and surging insurgency in Iraq. Why the pretense ? Where is the honesty ? Anti-America / Socialist - Communist indebted Congresspersons sit on powerful committees, where they are privy to top secret national security information, which they promptly leak and the New York Times, et, al, publish without fear of reprisal. This, not so ' tacit ' announcement to our enemies - " just be patient, we are on your side and will keep you apprised of the government's plans to safeguard the homeland " . No one has been charged with treason ! The New York Times virtually dares the government to bring them up on charges. It's past time to call their bluff !

After a five-year steady drumbeat of hateful vitriol against President George Bush and by extension of America, the irrational, illogical, unrealistic, non-reasoning rationalizing PC Democrats ( and R.I.N.O. ), no one seems to want to place blame for the surge of insurgency in Iraq, where it rightfully belongs - on the PC Democrats, RINO, liberal media and treasonous members of congress and other governmental employees.

If records can be believed, PC Democrats, RINO, PC Presidents, Congress and various state government officials have been busy over a long, long period of time, selling out the people and security of America ( for 30 pieces of silver in their re-election campaign coffers ).

If, all the above attempts at destruction of America,( there are many others ) did not crystalize on September 11, 2001- nothing ever will. The red flags were flying, but, it seems a conscious decision to ignore them was made. Pundits, politicians and other interested parties seem determined to ignore the role the PC Democrats and RINO have played in the turmoil in Iraq. They have encouraged the terrorists and competing insurgents to just fight on, be patient ! Their friends the anti-America PC Democrats and RINO will make them victorious.

Finally, an American, in the person of George W. Bush, a man of faith, character, courage of his convictions, personal integrity was elected ! And, lo and behold, he actually ' kept his word ' ! He took an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, protect the American people and help American minorities participate and share America's abundant opportunities. George Bush, the President, brought back a sense of honor, decency and dignity to the White House and to the elected office of President. President Bush is an honest man. He is more leader than politician. He is a man comfortable in his own skin, therefore does not rely on phony polls to tell him who he is. He does not make decisions based on the next election, but on what is best for America, and the American people and what he believes is right. He has been hated - with a fervent passion - for his self-confidence, self-assuredness, self-discipline, self-respect - an individual tends to extend respect to others in direct proportion to the self- respect held.

The PC Democrats could not defeat him, so they had to use subterfuge - seek out democrats who talked like Republicans ( Blue Dog Democrats / R.I.N.O. ) to get elected 11/7/06. Now, they will seek ways to get around the ' meaningless promises made " without revealing their devious intent. After all, the 2008, elections are looming and they will have to bide their time carefully. However, the PC DEMS don't have it in them. They will trip over their own hatred for America, and the values it holds dear and give in to their treasonous proclivities.

PC RINO do not have it in them to change. Their addiction to the perks of power is too strong. They have no allegiance to the conservative values and philosophy that got them elected in the first place. If the Republican Party is incapable of ridding itself of the RINO elements, they will find themselves replaced by a Conservative or Libertarian Party. Hopefully, the Grand Old Party ( GOP ) will return to its roots and boot out those who have betrayed their conservative roots and forgotten that its the PEOPLE who have the power, that power has merely been lent to them - for a period of time, which is rapidly evaporating !

Even the November 7, 2006, seems not to have penetrated the narcissistic skull of the power addicted RINO. People are fed up with giving them power to do something for the benefit of the nation, which they squander for the perks of power - reserved parking spaces, chauffeur driven cars, being fawned over, power to bilk the nation and reap bribe dollars for their campaign coffers. There are traitors to America heading to talk with Syria and Iran ( John Kerry, Arlen Specter - conservative Republicans were against his being elevated to chairman of the Judiciary Committee, but did the elected RINO listen ? NO ! - , Ed Nelson, Chris Dodd, et al ). The PC Democrats flaunt their hatred for America. They can be handled and dispensed with, were it not for RINO.
