If the government decides your employer must pay more ( increase the hourly wage ) and demand that you, the wage earner receive certain benefits ( your wages + contribution to your social security payments, health benefits, compensation insurance, sick leave, vacation pay, bereavement and maternity leave pay and less we forget, frequent 15 minutes breaks during your work day - non-productive ) Now, in order for your employer to meet this obligation to pay more, he must increase the cost of his goods or service.
